Take a look at our 115 series flap discs. We have six colors in total, and one shade is available in both light and dark tones.
Our standard versions are mainly designed for metal grinding, suitable for stainless steel and ordinary iron.
The 115 flap discs blended with silicon carbide are specially made for stone processing. Their raw material is black, so you can easily tell them apart from other types just by color.
Zirconia alumina abrasives are naturally blue. Due to fierce market competition, many alumina flap discs are also dyed blue to boost selling prices.
Green, dark brown and red options are regular alumina products. Minor color differences are normal across different manufacturers and production batches.
Red is the best-selling basic type on the market, followed by dark brown. Green discs are mainly supplied to Latin American buyers. This rare color helps attract customers to place trial orders, yet its overall grinding performance is almost identical to the dark brown ones.
Besides color and material, flap discs come in two main shapes. These three are O-type flying saucer style with downward tilted blades, which differ greatly from standard flat discs.
The O-type structure allows access to narrow corners and gaps during edge grinding. It is widely preferred by clients from Europe and the Middle East, while most Southeast Asian purchasers we cooperate with choose the flat type.
