Today we’re going to talk about our 115mm products. Let’s break down which countries these items are popular in.
First off, 115mm discs sell best across Latin America and Africa. North America mostly uses other sizes instead. Next come China, Africa, plus a small portion of European markets.
Buyers in the Middle East tend to prefer industrial-grade discs, as industrial lines are more cost-effective than household grades. Mass reconstruction of buildings across the Middle East drives high demand for industrial abrasive products, and the same applies to Africa—we covered 9-inch discs in our last session.
Now let’s move on to the specifications of our 115mm range. We have cutting discs in thicknesses of 1.0mm, 1.2mm, 1.6mm and 2mm. These thin cutting wheels are mainly designed for household angle grinders. Our 3mm-thick discs are dual-purpose, suitable for both cutting and grinding. Certain Middle Eastern nations also rely on this 3mm series for stone cutting applications.
Our standard discs work for stainless steel and iron. For stone processing, we add silicon carbide to the abrasive formula to adapt the discs for stone materials. We primarily manufacture products complying with European standards.
As mentioned earlier, the 115mm series is not widely popular in Southeast Asia. Sri Lanka is the only Southeast Asian market that orders both 115mm and 107mm discs. If a customer inquires about 115mm products from any other country, you can almost confirm they are buyers from the Middle East, Europe or Latin America. By identifying requested disc sizes, we can quickly determine our client’s target market.
