Today let’s talk about our 125mm cutting disc series.
The 125 size is the most widely used specification worldwide.
In Asia, 107mm is the mainstream, yet many customers also order 125mm discs.
For Europe, 125mm is their standard mainstream size.
In the Middle East, a small number of buyers purchase 125mm products. Australia’s orders are dominated by 125mm discs.
Demand is relatively low in Africa. For the Americas, 125mm is semi-mainstream in North America, while South America and Africa have smaller demand. Almost all other countries use 125mm cutting discs.
Just like our other products, we offer custom colors for the 125 series. Black and green shown here are the two most popular colors on the market.
Since 125mm discs sell best in Europe, European customers prefer classic, original natural tones.
We have two versions: Asia Version and Europe Version. The black mesh exposed style belongs to our Europe Version.
The core difference between Europe and Asia versions:
Europe Version: full label + black backing paper on the rear side.
Asia Version: half label (some clients choose full label as well), no black backing paper, standard exposed mesh. There are also minor subtle differences between them.
Take these two discs for example—you can tell their surface gloss is totally different just from the front.
The gloss is closely related to our second production step: forming (the first step is raw material mixing).
When we use flexible dies, the disc surface gets a shiny, glittering finish.
If we adopt rigid dies, the surface becomes smooth with a matte logo effect.
To put it simply in literal terms: flexible dies contain rubber parts, while rigid dies are all metal. That’s why they create different surface textures during pressing. That’s the difference brought by our mold selection.
We can customize colors by adjusting color pigment for the 125 series.
Black accounts for the largest global market share, followed by green, which is mainly popular across Asia.
Small-batch clients often pick niche colors like gold or red to differentiate their brand from competitors and create a high-end positioning.
This green model uses transparent mesh, showing a golden mesh texture.
Some clients opt for gold base material mixed with fine green abrasive grains, creating a blended color effect just like patterned fabric. It looks stylish and stands out from generic market discs.
Now let’s look at a special inner bore size for our 125 series.
The standard inner diameter is 22mm, but this smaller 16mm bore is popular in Japan and South Korea.
Honestly, Japanese and Korean buyers are extremely strict with fine details and packaging design—these are their top priorities.
They demand both Europe Version & Asia Version, plus woven mesh and plain weave mesh. They love unique selling points that set their products apart from other markets.
Our clients have diverse custom requests: green abrasive with non-woven black paper backing (Europe Version), black abrasive in Asia Version or Europe Version, and countless premium packaging designs.
We really enjoy working with such challenging clients, as they push us to polish every tiny detail to perfection.
That’s our 125mm series with the special 16mm inner bore.
