When customers hear about German standards, they immediately associate them with superior quality and rigorous testing. The German third-party auditing institution we cooperate with has been deeply engaged in the abrasive industry since its earliest development, owning a complete and systematic testing standard. This certification only inspects the safety performance of cutting wheels and abrasive discs, with test reports issued by the authoritative MPA laboratory in Hanover, Germany — highly recognized worldwide in the abrasive industry.
The laboratory standards are reasonably formulated without rigid fixed-size requirements. Taking the 125mm model as an example, dimensions are not required to be perfectly identical. Reasonable positive and negative tolerances are allowed for diameter, thickness and inner hole. Clear minimum thresholds are set for rotation tests and impact tests. Products must exceed these standard values to ensure safe use, and all our factory products fully meet these safety specifications.
Three core elements determine product safety: production equipment, outsourced fiberglass mesh, and raw material proportioning. Fiberglass mesh directly determines the toughness and structural strength of abrasive tools. Meanwhile, the strength indicators of bonding agents and abrasive grains must also reach standard requirements. Our quality control mainly focuses on raw material mixing and mesh selection. Although the general production process is similar across the industry, the mixing procedure relies heavily on equipment precision.
In the past, manual mixing caused unstable stirring time and insufficient blending. As a result, bonding agents and abrasives could not perform properly, leading easily to unqualified products. Today we adopt fully automatic mixing equipment to ensure stable qualification. Semi-automatic or manual operation cannot steadily meet official safety testing standards.
Abrasive products are extremely sensitive to production details. Any negligence in the process will directly affect product safety. Even with top-grade raw materials, poor process control will still cause products to fail safety certification.
