On-site Scenes of the Industrial Park After Typhoon Dolphin

Created on 08.12
Will Typhoon Dolphin bring any impact to our factory compound?
Compared with Typhoon Bavi last time, the impact this time is far less severe.
When Typhoon Bavi landed, the industrial park released a notice immediately, requiring all staff to suspend work and go home at once.
On that day, we rushed to relocate all materials and supplies from the first floor to the second floor as a precaution to avoid all potential hazards.
In contrast, Typhoon Dolphin passed by yesterday on the 9th. We went to work as normal yesterday, and production is running smoothly today. The park did not issue any notice to stop work this time.
Furthermore, the park has made thoughtful and proper arrangements for the typhoon period, which shows that the management cares a lot about employees.
You can take a look at our parking lot; there are plenty of vacant spaces today. When Typhoon Bavi struck last time, it was completely full of cars.
We don’t need to park vehicles in the underground garage today, right?
That’s right. Once it rains, all cars in the underground garage must be driven out and cannot be left there for even a minute.
This rule was only enforced yesterday, wasn’t it?
Yes, only yesterday, because of the typhoon.
Your flood prevention arrangements here are really well-organized.
Yep, haha.
We’ve prepared flood control sandbags in advance. Worried that people might not find them, we’ve placed all of them uniformly under the staircases.
Exactly, they’re all stored under the stairs.
Thank you for all your preparations.
Production and business operations in the factory have long returned to normal. In fact, we have kept full normal operation without any shutdown these two days.
